for every winner there must be a loser!
i started with the financial industry in the mid 90s as an equity dealer for a brokerage firm. it was an exciting time to be in the stock market; equity was in a stage of "irrational exuberance" but ended some years later with a major correction. then as a young trader, i had made and lost a good deal of my own personal money. but most importantly, i have learned the most unforgettable lesson about the financial market which has served me well to this day.
INVESTOR BEWARE!
THE MARKET IS MERCILESS!
later in my career life, i went on to work for an american bank in their wealth management division. missing the excitment of trading, i left not too long after to join a hedge fund as a forex trader.
over the years, i am fortunate to meet and work with many clients and friends that have been faithfully supporting me. with the creation of this blog, i hope i can continue to provide my own insights on the various financial markets and some of the global events that are taking place. hopefully you will find my sharing useful.

Dear NG Ming,
Firstly congrats on the wonderful calls last month. I just happened to read your blog a few days ago. I just wanted to know two things .
1) How do I subscribe to your blog ? (So that I know when there is an update)
2) Secondly, would it be possible for you to mention your stop loss in your calls ?
Thanks again,
Paul
